Occidental Mindoro is the western part of Mindoro Island. The island is divided into two provinces, Occidental Mindoro on the west and Oriental Mindoro on the east.

There are eleven municipalities: Abra de Ilog, Calintaan, Looc, Lubang, Magsaysay, Mamburao, Paluan, Rizal, Sablayan, San Jose, and Sta.Cruz.
