Bengal is the region of the Ganga-Brahmaputra delta, divided between the nation of Bangladesh, and the Indian state of West Bengal. Throughout this region the common language is Bengali (Bangla).

Central Asia is located in the centre of the Eurasian landmass, and extends from the Caspian Sea to China. It includes Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia. Other regions are sometimes included; these include Manchuria, Siberia, the Caspian and Caucasus regions, Afghanistan, Kashmir, and Tibet.

Only sites containing information relevant to all, or several Central Asian states will be added to this category.

This region of Asia includes China (including Hongkong and Macau), Taiwan, North and South Korea, Japan. Mongolia, Vietnam and parts of Asiatic Russia may also be included.
The Korean peninsula lies on the east coast of Asia, and is bordered by northern China and eastern Siberia. It comprises the modern countries of North and South Korea.
Southeast Asia contains the following countries; Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, East Timor, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines. It has sometimes (especially historically) been divided into the mainland Asian region of Indochina (Burma, Thailand, Malaya, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam), and the island region of the East Indies (Indonesia, East Timor, East Malaysia).
