This category lists English-language web sites relevant to the county's municipalities or kommuner. Examples of sites that would be listed here are official and unofficial web sites of the municipality, companies, clubs and societies and tourism sites. Sites relevant for more than one municipality in Västerbotten County should be submitted to the county level.
Sites in Swedish should be submitted to the relevant subcategory of World/Svenska/Regionalt/Europa/Sverige/Västerbottens_län/Kommuner/.

Please find the relevant municipality category to submit your site. If you are not sure which municipality the site should be submitted to, or if there is no subcategory for that municipality, you may submit directly to the Localities category (this catecory). This may however delay the review of your site.

Dorotea is an inland municipality, the southernmost of Swedish Lapland. To the south, it borders to Strömsund municipality in Jämtland county. The main town and seat of the municipality is also called Dorotea. The name Dorotea comes from Frederica Dorothea Wilhelmina of Baden, who was Queen of Sweden until 1809. She gave new names to three villages in northern Sweden, which still bear the names Fredrika, Dorotea and Vilhelmina.
Umeå is located along the coast of the northern parts of Sweden and has around 100,000 inhabitants.
