Silverton

Silverton is a village 12km north of Exeter, west of the M5, and of the A396 to Tiverton.
The parish of Silverton extends north of the village across the Burn River to Overleigh between Bickleigh and Butterleigh.
With these two parishes, Silverton is administered by Mid Devon District Council, along with Halberton,
whose western limits separate the parish from Tiverton on its north boundary.
The River Culm on the southern boundary, separates the East Devon parishes of Broad Clyst and Rewe.
The River Exe to the west is in the parish of Netherexe which separates Silverton fro the other Mid Devon parish of Thorverton to the east.
