Askerswell

Askerswell is a village and West Dorset parish, north of the A35 road between Bridport and Dorchester,: immediately east of Uploders represented by the Loders category.
Chilcombe is directly south of the A35, where websites are listed in the Litton Cheney category.
Askerswell village is at the confluence of streams from the surrounding chalk downs, from which the River Asker: flows west through Loders and Bradpole, before joining the River Brit, west of Bothampton in Bridport.
Shipton Gorge is to the south west.
A minor road leads via Spyway north east to Eggardon Hill, where Nettlecombe is in Powerstock parish to: the north west, and Toller Porcorum parish further north east.
West Compton is immediately east, which with Wynford Eagle and Toller Fratrum are represented by the: Compton Valence category, as is Kingston Russell, the next parish east on the A35 road to Winterbourne Abbas.
