Lydlinch is a village in North Dorset on the A357 road west of Sturminster Newton,
on the west bank of the River Lydden.
The parish of Lydlinch extends from Caudle Brook, south to King's Stag in Blackmore Vale.
The North Dorset parish neighbours are Pulham directly south, Hazelbury Bryan to the south east,
Fifehead Neville directly east, south of Sturminster Newton and Stalbridge is immediately north west of the A357.
Off the A357 west of the village, the A3030 leads across the boundary into West Dorset at Bishop's Caudwell and
south of this, Holwell is accessed from King's Stag.
