Sixpenny Handley is a village, and former hundred and civil parish, now administered as a combined parish
with  Pentridge to the east, south east of Cranborne Chase, on the north boundary of East Dorset. 
Wimborne St Giles is to the south east, and  Gussage St Michael to the south west, where the A354 road
runs north east to the north of Hampshire at Martin (represented by  Damerham ).
From the A354, the B3081 leads road traffic through Sixpenny Handley village, westwards over
Cranborne Chase to  Tollard Royal north west of the Wiltshire boundary at Michinigton Down.
South of this, within Sixpenny Handley parish, are the hamlets of Michinigton and Gussage St Andrew,
before Cashmoor, south of the A354 in Gussage St Michael parish.
West of Michinigton, the North Dorset parish of Farnham is represented by the  Tarrant Gunville category.
Sixpenny Handley parish shares Chase Wood on its northern boundary with the Wiltshire parish
of  Bower Chalke.
