Fairford is a town and Cotwold District parish on the A417 road between  Cirencester, and  Lechlade-on-Thames to the east.
Meysey Hampton is the parish immediately west, and the Meysey Hampton category also represents
Quenington parish immediately north west of the town, west of the River Coln.
Hatherop is east of the Coln, with Fairford Park immediately north of the town.
To the east of the town, Fairford parish stretches south east to include the Fairford/ Lechlade Section of the
Cotswold Water Park, along the north bank of the River Coln, which flows largely through Kempsford parish
before its confluence with the River Thames at  Inglesham.
Horcott Hill is south of the town, which with Whelford is in Kempsford parish, as is RAF Fairford, north of
Dunfield and the village of Kempsford on the north bank of the River Thames,
east of  Marston Meysey.
