Pontrilas, Welsh for three bridges, is village on east bank of the River Dore, as it flows to south to join the
River Monnow on the south west border of Herefordshire with Monmouthshire at Llangua in  Grosmont community.
Here the River Dore is the parish boundary of Ewyas Harold and Kentchurch and this category represents both parishes.
Parishes of Rowlstone and Llancillo are represented by  Walterstone further south west.
North west of Pontrilas, Dulas Brook joins the River Dore, where the A465 bypassses the west of the village.
Before the bridges, off the A465, the B4347 takes traffic north west along the west bank of Dulas Brook, along a linear
settlement to the village of Ewyas Harold, before Dulas parish further north west, represented by the  Longtown category.
The River Dore flows south, to the east of Ewyas Harold village from Abbey Dore parish directly north,
also represented by this category.
The A465 leaves Pontrilas in the parish of Kentchurch, heading north east to Kenderchurch and Wormbridge parishes.
These are represented by Kilpeck parish, which is directly north of Kentchurch, Orcop is to the north east,
St Weonards to the east, represented by  Garway north of the River Monnow which continues the country border.
