Essendine is the most eastern parish and village of Rutland.

The Rutland parish of Keeton is in the east, to the unitary authority boundary with the northern tip of Northamptonshire
at the parish of Easton on the Hill, in the

The Rutland parish of Lyddington is south of Uppingham on the A6003 to Caldecott. The parish includes Eyebrook reservoir which forms the unitary authority boundary with Leicestershire to the west.
