Billingshurst is a large village lying on the old Roman road of Stane Street to the south west of Horsham. The bustling village centre has a wide range of shops, catering for both villagers and the surrounding rural area. It has several industrial areas and a main line railway station. Chidham, Nutbourne and Hambrook

Chidham is a parish west of Bosham and Chichester, and east of Southbourne. Chilgrove

Chilgrove is a small hamlet and scattering of dwellings on the B2141 (Lavant to Petersfield Road). Chilgrove is part of the parish of West Dean. It has the Kingley Vale Nature Reserve and Forestry Commission lands to the east and the West Dean Estate, National Trust lands and the South Downs Way to the north, all of which make it an area for ramblers and walkers.

Christ's Hospital

Christ's Hospital is a hamlet within the parish of Southwater consisting mainly of the campus of the Christ's Hospital School (one of the largest in the UK), adjacent/coincident to which are the hamlets of Stammerham and Two Mile Ash. It has it's own railway station. Christ's Hospital is a boarding school and charitable foundation offering subsidised education for boys and girls, aged 11-18. It was founded in 1552 by King Edward VI, with previous pupils including Sam Taylor Coleridge, Charles Lamb, and James Leigh Hunt.

Climping

Climping is a village and civil parish (whose title is Clymping) in the Arun District of West Sussex.

Compton, Stoughton and the Mardens

Compton, Stoughton, and the Mardens are small settlements to the North West of Chichester. Compton and West Marden (with Walderton) are on the B2146 between South Harting to the north and Funtingdon to the south. The settlements of Marden, Up Marden and East Marden lie to the north between the B2146 and the B2141, which passes through North Marden.

Crawley

Crawley is a New Town in the North of Sussex. The town is situated on the M23 (London-Brighton corridor) about 5 miles South of London Gatwick International Airport. For historical reasons, the town of Crawley almost (but not quite) maps exactly onto the Borough of Crawley. For our purposes the town includes the built up area of Crawley whilst areas separated have their own categories, whether or not they are technically part of the town or not.

Categories exist for other locations in the Borough of Crawley : Fernhill, Lowfield Heath and Tinsley Green. Crawley Borough

The borough consists of the town of Crawley made up of the town centre plus the following residential neighborhoods:- Bewbush, Broadfield, Furnace Green, Gossops Green, Ifield, Langley Green, Maidenbower, Northgate, Pound Hill, Southgate, Three Bridges, Tilgate, and West Green. In addition the borough includes Gatwick Airport and surrounding area, the Manor Royal industrial estate, and Worth village. It should be noted that the land between Gatwick Airport and the built up area of Crawley contain a number of distinct settlements. The boundaries of the borough are confused by an extension of mainly uninhabited land to the west of Gatwick Airport and a 'pie-slice' cut into the borough below this. As a result of the latter, the outlying parts of Ifield (Ifield Wood) is in Horsham District. From the south, through the east to the north, the M23 and M23/A23 is the boundary, continuing along the northern perimeter of the airport until it's western end, where it heads west to mark the western extension. From the south to the west, the boundary more or less follows the edge of the built up area, curving to the north-east until a kilometre south of the airport when it heads west to mark the western extension. Places in the northern parts of the borough may still retain their Surrey postcodes and addresses, being identified as part of Horley.

Donnington and Stockbridge

Donnington has around 2000 residents and is located due south of Chichester from the A27 bypass and stretches southwards across the fields of the Manhood Peninsula to Sidlesham. Earnley and Batchmere

Pulborough is a large village with a population of about 5000. It is located a few miles north of the South Downs and lies at the junction of the River Arun and the river Rother. Pulborough has glorious views across the river flood plain, a haven for wild life, with the South Downs in the background, and an attractive surrounding countryside. It has a main line railway station and two small industrial areas. Pulborough Parish includes the hamlets of Codmore Hill, North Heath and Nutbourne, and is within the Horsham District. Slindon
