This category aims to list the main hotel chains within the UK. It does not include subsites of international groups such as Best Western, Hilton or Marriott. Descriptions will try to indicate which of these can be booked on-line, or which you can make a booking request for.
A hotel chain should be regarded as being a company owning or operating 3 or more hotels not all in the same area. This would not include guest houses and normally would expect the hotels to be spread around the country or a region.
