This category is for sites about the east coast port and municipality, in the Gazimagusa administrative district north of the Green Line. 

The Turkish name is Gasimagusa, sometimes abbreviated to Magusa.  The Greek name is Ammochostos. In Northern Cyprus Gazimagusa and Famagusta are both used.  Likewise in the south, Famagusta and Ammochostos are interchangeable.
