The Census Metropolitan Area of Calgary is in the southern region of Alberta. It is the municipal area as outlined by Statistics Canada and includes the villages of Irricana and Beiseker, the towns of Chestermere, Cochrane and Crossfield, the cities of Airdrie and Calgary, the Rocky View Municipal District, and the Tsuu T'ina Nation.
Submit only sites having a Census Metropolitan Area of Calgary focus. Sites having to do with the city of Calgary should be submitted to the appropriate category in Regional/North_America/Canada/Alberta/Localities/C/Calgary
The Census Metropolitan Area of Edmonton is in the northern region of Alberta. It is the municipal area as outlined by Statistics Canada and includes the summer villages of Betula Beach, Golden Days, Itaska Beach, Kapasiwin, Lakeview, Point Alison, Seba Beach and Sundance Beach, the villages of New Sarepta, Spring Lake, Thorsby, Wabamun and Warburg, the towns of Beaumont, Bon Accord, Bruderheim, Calmar, Devon, Gibbons, Legal, Morinville, Redwater and Stony Plain, the cities of Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, Spruce Grove and St. Albert, the counties of Leduc, Parkland, Strathcona, Sturgeon, and the Alexander, Stony Plain and Wabamun Nations.
Submit only sites having a Census Metropolitan Area of Edmonton focus. Sites specific to one community within the CMA of Edmonton should be submitted to that locality.
