Metro Areas

British Columbia has two Metropolitan Areas (Vancouver and Victoria) as defined by Statistics Canada.

Abbotsford

The Census Metropolitan Area of Abbotsford is in the Central Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, and is on the eastern edge of Greater Vancouver. It is the municipal area as outlined by Statistics Canada and includes the City of Abbotsford, the District Municpality of Mission, the Fraser Valley H Regional District Electoral Area, and the Matsqui Main 2 and Upper Sumas 6 First Nations Reserves.

Victoria

This category is for sites related to the Census Metropolitan Area of Victoria, that is: Becher Bay, Central Saanich, Cole Bay, Colwood, East Saanich, Esquimalt, Highlands, Langford, Metchosin, New Songhees, North Saanich, Oak Bay, Saanich, Sidney, Sooke, South Saanich, T'Sou-ke, Union Bay (not to be confused with the community of Union Bay in the Comox Regional District), Victoria and View Royal.
