Glenn County is located in Northern California about half way between the cities of Sacramento and Redding. Glenn County is primarily an agricultural community bordered with mountains on the west and the Sacramento River on the east side of the County. Major commodities are almonds, rice, milk products, olives and livestock.
Glenn County was incorporated on March 5, 1895. The U.S. Census 2006 population estimate was 28,061. The county seat is Willows.
