Fairfield Township, in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, is bounded on the north by Emily and on the west by Crosslake.

Farden Township is in the northeast corner of Hubbard County. It includes the unincorporated village of Farris, and Rosby (also unincorporated) is in the township's northwestern corner. Farden Township is bounded on the west by Helga Township, on the east by Pike Bay Township, on the north by Frohn Township, and on the south by Hart Lake Township.

Fernando, Minnesota, is a small unincorporated community about 5 miles south of Stewart. It is in Round Grove Township, McLeod County.

Florian, Minnesota, is an unincorporated settlement at the intersection of Marshall County Roads 1 and 6. Florian is midway between Argyle and Karlstad, and about 29 miles northwest of Thief River Falls.

The city of Forest Lake, Minnesota, population about 15000, is in the northwestern corner of Washington County. The former Town of Forest Lake was annexed by the city of Forest Lake in March 2000. Forest Lake is about 20 miles north-northwest of St. Paul. Forest Lake is bounded on the south by Hugo, on the east by Scandia, on the west by Columbus, and on the north by Wyoming Township.

The city of Franklin, population 441, lies along the banks of Purgatory Creek, north of the Minnesota River, in Renville County. Franklin is about 10 miles east of Redwood Falls on State Highway 19.

Franklin Township, in the southeastern corner of Wright County, is bounded on the north by Rockford Township, on the east by Independence and Delano, and on the south by Watertown Township.

Freeport, Minnesota, population 566, is in Stearns County, about 26 miles northwest of St. Cloud, on Interstate 94.

French Lake Township is on the western edge of Wright County, just south of Annandale. The township includes both a body of water and an unincorporated village called French Lake. The unincorporated village of Knapp is on the southern edge of the township, and West Albion (also unincorporated) is on the eastern edge of French Lake Township.

The Town of French, Minnesota, about 20 miles north of Hibbing, includes the unincorporated community of Side Lake, as well as McCarthy Beach State Park.

Frohn Township is in southern Beltrami County. The Mississippi River runs through it, and most of Wolf Lake is in the township. Frohn Township is bounded on the west by Bemidji Township and the City of Bemidji, on the west by Ten Lake Township, on the north by Turtle River Township, and on the south by the Hubbard County line. The unincorporated village of Rosby is in the southwestern part of the township.
