Lake Elmo, Minnesota, is an eastern suburb of St. Paul. Lake Elmo is bounded on the north by Grant, on the south by Woodbury, on the west by Oakdale and Pine Springs, and on the east by Baytown Township and West Lakeland Township.

Lake Eunice is the name of a township, a lake, and an unincorporated settlement southwest of Detroit Lakes in Becker County, Minnesota. Lake Eunice the town is just north of Lake Eunice the body of water, and just east of Lake Maud. It is at the intersection of County Road 22 and Shorewood Beach Road, about 5 miles southwest of Detroit Lakes as the crow flies.

La Grand Township is directly west of the city and township of Alexandria in west central Minnesota. The Garfield city limits are in the northwestern corner of La Grand Township. La Grand Township is in Douglas County.

Leech Lake Township, Cass County, is on the Leech Lake Reservation. It includes Steamboat Bay, Welshes Bay, Minnesota Island, the Narrows, and the Walker Municipal Airport. The township is bounded on the north by Wilkinson Township, on the south by Shingobee Township, on the west by the Hubbard County line. To the east is unorganized territory.

Leiding Township, St. Louis County, surrounds the City of Orr. The township includes the unincorporated villages of Cusson and Glendale. The Orr municipal landing strip and most of Pelican Lake are in the township.

Situated 30 miles south of The Twin Cities Metro Area (Minneapolis / St Paul) and 30 miles north of Mankato, Minnesota, Le Sueur is served by 4-lane Federal Highway 169. The community was named after Pierre Le Sueur, a French explorer in the late 1700's who is believed to be the first European to travel up the Minnesota River. Le Sueur, located along the Minnesota River, is one of Minnesota's older communities. It was one of the stopping places for steamboats, which at one time used the Minnesota River. Despite its size, Le Sueur has gained wide name recognition as a result of the successful advertising program featuring the Jolly Green Giant and the great river valley with its fine group of Le Sueur brand vegetables. The Green Giant Company was founded in Le Sueur in 1903 as the Minnesota Valley Canning Company.

Libby is an unincorporated town in Libby Township, Aitkin County, Minnesota. Libby is on the west shore of Big Sandy Lake, about 11 miles north of McGregor on State Highway 65, and 6 miles north-northwest of Minnewaska as the crow flies.

The city of Lilydale, Minnesota, lies along the Mississippi River in the northern tip of Dakota County. It is about as far north as you can get and still be "south of the river." Lilydale is bounded on the north by St. Paul, on the east by Mendota Heights, on the southwest by Mendota. It is across the Mississippi from Fort Snelling State Park.

Linwood Township is in the northeastern corner of Anoka County, Minnesota. It is bordered by Oxford Township on the north, East Bethel to the west, Columbus on the south. East of Linwood Township are the city and township of Wyoming, and Lent Township.

The city of Long Lake, Minnesota, population 1984, is in western Hennepin County and is completely surrounded by the city of Orono.

Louisville Township, in Scott County, is bounded on the north by Jackson Township, on the east by Shakopee, on the south by Sand Creek Township, and on the west by the Minnesota River. Louisville Township is directly east of the city of Carver.

Lynden Township is in the southeastern corner of Stearns County, Minnesota. It is bounded on the north by St. Cloud, on the west by St. Augusta, on the south by Corinna Township. Eastern Lynden Township borders on Clearwater.
