Taconite, Minnesota, population 310, is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and Itasca County Road 7. The city of Taconite is bounded on the west by Coleraine, and on the east, by Marble. Taconite is approximately 11 miles northeast of Grand Rapids.
Talmoon is an unincorporated community near Little Turtle Lake in the southeastern corner of Jessie Lake Township in Itasca County, Minnesota.
Ten Lake Township, in southeastern Beltrami County, includes a body of water called Ten Lake, as well as Andrusia Lake, most of Allens Bay, and part of Cass Lake (the body of water). Ten Lake Township is directly north of Pike Bay Township. To the north of Ten Lake Township is Sugar Bush Township; Frohn Township is on the west; and Brook Lake (unorganized) is to the east.
Torrey Township, in northeastern Cass County, is in the Chippewa National Forest. It borders on no cities and has no unincorporated villages. The township does include Schoolcraft State Park. Vermillion Lake, Sugar Lake, and Little Vermillion Lake are in Torrey Township. To the west is Salem township; on the north, south, and east are unorganized teeritories.
Trout Lake Township, in Itasca County, is bounded on the north by the cities of Coleraine and Bovey and by Iron Range Township. Its other neighbors are Grand Rapids Township (to the west), Blackberry Township (on the south), and Little Sand Lake, an unorganized township-sized area to the east.

Turtle Lake Township is a township in Beltrami County, Minnesota. It took its name from Turtle Lake.
