Zim

Zim, population 300, is in St. Louis County, Minnesota. Zim is about 50 miles northwest of Duluth and 9 miles south-southwest of Eveleth, at the junction of County Highways 7 and 27.
Zimmerman, population 1350, is in Sherburne County, Minnesota. It is 50 miles northwest of Minneapolis on U.S Highway 169, 6 miles south of Princeton and 8 miles north of Elk River. The city of Zimmerman surrounds the southern half of Lake Fremont, and extends to the west. Lake Fremont is a popular spot for fishing, especially for crappie, Northern pike, and sunfish. Just south of Zimmerman is the Fremont Wildlife Refuge Area.
Zippel Township, organized in 1999, is northwest of Baudette and north of Williams, in Lake of the Woods County. Its neighbor to the east is Wheeler Township, and to the north is Prosper Township. Zippel includes Zippel Bay, on Lake of the Woods, and part of Zippel Bay State Park.
Zumbrota, population 2312, is located along the Zumbro River in Goodhue County, Minnesota, where U.S. Highway 52 and State Highways 58 and 60 meet. Zumbrota is approximately 50 miles southeast of the Twin Cities.
The city of Zumbro Falls, population 237, is situated on the banks of the Zumbro River in Wabasha County, Minnesota, about 50 miles southeast of the Twin Cities. Zumbro Falls is at the junction of U.S. Highway 63 and Minnesota State Highway 60, 20 miles north of Rochester.
