Hubbardton is a town located in Rutland County. Communities and Villages include East Hubbardton, Hortonia, and Hubbardton. The town was chartered on June 15, 1764. Site of Revolutionary War battle, July 7, 1777, the Hubbardton battle site is the location of the only battle fought in Vermont during the American Revolution.
