Grassroots, protest, and "direct action" activities, opinions in the culture wars, community work and community development, visiting the sick and feeding the poor, Marxism, reformism, social-democracy, leftism, pseudo-leftism, militant reformism, pacifism, armed revolution - If it has an opinion, and its Australian, then this is the category. Conservatives welcome, fascists excluded.

Please submit activism sites that are specifically relevant to Australia, or are Australian based. A very broad definition of "activism" is encouraged, so that any organisation encouraging people to take control of their lives in any way at all might be OK. The site must still be of high quality to make it to the Directory.

Australian sites offering primarily general information or education on politics should also be submitted in Regional: Oceania: Australia: Society and Culture: Issues. Site about a particular political grouping or a site that emphasizes electoral and governmental actions should also be submitted in Regional: Oceania: Australia: Society and Culture: Politics.
