Beanie Babies

Beanie Babies are manufactured by Ty, Inc. They are plush toy animals, approximately 8 inches in height or length. Beanies come in assorted styles and are sought after as both toys and collectibles. You can identify a Beanie Baby by the heart shaped tag that contains a poem and the animal's date of birth. Ty also produces other lines of collectible plush toy animals known as Baby Ty, Ty Classic, Beanie Buddies, Teenie Beanies, Attic Treasures, Pillow Pals, and Ty Plush, many of which are also listed in this category.

The Teddy Bear is named after the late U.S. President, Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt. Cartoons of the early 1900's associated the President with the bear, and before long, the "Teddy" bear was born. Bears have become favorite toys and are highly collectible and sought after as gifts.
