Daytime Running Lights (or DRLs for short) are a safety measure which consists in having the headlights on during the day. It typically uses the high beam bulb, but at a much lower intensity, so that it lasts longer. Many people dislike this measure because the user cannot control it (i.e., they turn on automatically). There is also a debate about the safety benefits of DRLs. The sites in this category contain arguments both for and against the use of Daytime Running Lights.
