Sites listed here deal only with the defining of a Christian prophecy, not the interpretation or application of a prophecy. A prophecy is the declaration of a prophet made under the inspiration of God verbally or in recorded form.
According to the various doctrinal views the meaning of prophecy can range from only non-predictive about the present conditions or issues at hand to a combination of non-predictive and predictive.
Interpretations or applications of such prophecies shall be listed in the correct sub category here or elsewhere in the ODP according to them most defining issue contained. Non Christian prophecies should be listed in the appropriate categories of Religion_and_Spirituality.
An Internet forum is any web site medium that allows for the publicly viewable interactive exchange of ideas between two or more parties. These mediums include bulletin boards, updated web pages, voice chat and live chat boards.
For the purposes of this category the subjects shall be limited to discussion and debate of prophetic issues as the main topic.
Other Christian sites should be submitted to Chats_and_Forums or the appropriate sub category or link. Non Christian sites should be submitted to the appropriate non Christian category in the ODP.
To submit a site here it:
1. Must declare itself to be and actually be a Christian ministry to be considered.
2. Must be a recognized organization as in declaring non-profit status or religious organization membership.
3. Must offer a service to the physical real world. This would include teaching, evangelism, food pantries, conferences, studies, counciling, and so on.
4. Must be dominately non End Times Prophecy oriented.
Non End Times Prophetic Ministries that offer online services only should be submitted to Online Ministries here. End Times oriented should be submitted to End_Times. Other Christian ministries shall be submitted to Ministries, one of its sub categories, or links as appropriate and per Description. Non-Christian ministries shall be submitted to the appropriate subcategory of Religion_and_Spirituality.
Listings here are from individual Christians with a main focus on End Times, personal prophecies, or prophecies not more properly dealt with in a more specific category in the ODP.
This would include individual pastors and "ministries" that do not meet the definitions of Ministries.
