The Christianity/Shopping category consists of retailers who sell General Christian merchandise - such as books, Bibles, music, church equipment, vestments, apparel, gifts, collectibles, fine quality figurines, jewelry, and other products intended specifically for the Christian market.

Sites selling general retail merchandise should be submitted to a more appropriate Shopping category.

Booksellers

Online retail sales primarily of books of interest to Christians. (Many large retailers also sell some CD's, software, and crafts or gifts: these will not be cross-listed in those categories.) Note that used-book stores and large generic book retailers also sell Christian books: they will be found under the respective related categories.

Methods for buying online, including:
- Online ordering or
- Information/forms for ordering by email or post or
- Information for ordering by telephone or fax

Websites for stores serving walk-in customers only should be submitted to the appropriate Regional category.

Websites with ordering information for one book only or works by one author only should be submitted to the Individual Promotions subcategory.

Websites which are only click-through affiliates of large online booksellers (such as Amazon.com), will not be listed.

Clothing

This category is for sites which offer clothing with a Christian motif for sale online.

Sites that submit to this category must sell primarily clothing and very few accessories are allowed. Sites that sell a variety of accessories that are not considered clothing such as watches, gifts, etc. should submit to Society: Religion and Spirituality: Christianity: Shopping.

If your site is casual clothing, please submit to the Casual category.

If your site is t-shirts only, please submit to the T-Shirts category.

Crafts and Gifts

This category is intended for websites that offer information about Christian crafts or Christian gifts for sale. Religious gifts for other religions and sects do not belong here and will not be listed. General Christian merchandise - like books, music, church equipment and other products - should be directed to Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Faiths_and_Beliefs/Christianity/Shopping or one of its subcategories. Do not submit links to a specific product or section of a catalog/store. The main url will only be listed. Perhaps your site is better suited to Shopping/Gifts. Do not submit your site more than once, even if its available from more than one url. Repeated submission of the same site is cause for removal without notification. Ecclesiastical Goods

This category lists websites where you can purchase religious goods for Christian churches, otherwise known as ecclesiastical goods. These goods include, among others, vestments for ministers, chalices, gospel covers, and candles. Some sell exclusively to churches while others offer their products to the general public as well.
