The Cleveland Browns was one of the teams in the All-America Football Conference which operated from 1946 to 1949 and won all four AAFC Championships. The AAFC merged with the NFL for the 1950 season. The team was named as a result of a contest before the 1946 season and was named after much-loved head coach Paul Brown.
The Dallas Cowboys entered the league in 1960 and finished that year 0-11-1. The Cowboys have played in eight Super Bowls (V, VI, X, XII, XIII, XXVII, XXVIII, XXX) winning five of them (VI, XII, XXVII, XXVIII, XXX). They were considered by many to be the dominant team of the 1990s.
