Extreme Championship Wrestling

Sites that deal with the professional wrestling promotion formerly based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and headed by Lou E. Dangerously (aka Paul Heyman). Paul Heyman's ECW specialized in hardcore style matches and gained in popularity with some fans but fell on hard times and threw in the towel. ECW was resurrected with Stephanie McMahon as the 'owner' for a short time but was then dissolved into World Wrestling Entertainment (formerly known as World Wrestling Federation).

World Championship Wrestling

Pages that deal exclusively with Ted Turner's (Time Warner's) World Championship Wrestling (WCW) or its previous owners. World Championship Wrestling was carried along side the World Wrestling Federation (known as World Wrestling Entertainment starting in on May 6, 2002) brand for a short time as well before being dissolved along with Extreme Championship Wrestling.
