Usenet, or Netnews, is a world-wide distributed discussion system. News articles propagate, or travel, through a network of news servers, computers which use NNTP to transport messages. This category lists sites which provide a adult-oriented news access. Traditional access to adult-oriented newsgroups requires newsreader software and access to a newsserver. Non-traditional access to adult-oriented newsgroups does not require accessing a newsserver via newsreader software utilizing NNTP protocol. Sites in this category allow you to access adult-oriented newsgroups, via traditional (software utilizing the NNTP protocol) and/or non-traditional means (a web browser or other viewers).
