Seamus McGarvey - British cinematographer, born 29 June 1967. Armagh, Northern Ireland, UK. He has shot the films of some of the most exciting and innovative directors working in Britain today and his camera work has been frequently praised in film reviews. His recent films include 'The War Zone' directed by Tim Roth, 'Stand and Deliver' and 'Jump the Gun' both directed by Les Blair, and 'The Hours' directed by Stephen Daldry. In 1998 he was invited to join the British Society of Cinematographers, becoming its youngest ever member.
