Jezebel - USA (1938) black and white, directed by William Wyler, adapted from the play by Owen Davis. Debutante Julie Marsden (Bette Davis) challenges the dictates of 1853 New Orleans societal etiquette and ultimately erodes the resolve of her fiance (Henry Fonda) in the role that earned her second Academy Award for Best Actress.

Cast includes Fay Bainter (Best Supporting Actress), George Brent, and Margaret Lindsay as the woman in whom Julie finally meets her match.
