1993 movie based on the life of Rudy Ruettinger who had a dream to go to Notre Dame and play football with the Fighting Irish. Against all odds Rudy finally was accepted to Notre Dame and won a place on the practice squad. In the last game of Rudy's senior year he was allowed to suit up and play the few remaining seconds. He is only football player in Notre Dame history to be carried off the field by teammates.
