The Saturday Night Live duo of Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi teamed with composer Howard Shore and others to create a blues band that became a cultural phenonmenon. Besides appearances on the show, the band also toured, recorded albums, and was the center of two movies (the second without Belushi after his death from drug overdose).
