A guitarist's guitarist, one of the most prolific songwriters in the music business, and one of the few music geniuses untouched by the mainstream curse.

Jaime Royal Robertson was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on July 5, 1943, and died of prostate cancer on August 9, 2023.

He was lead guitarist for Bob Dylan in the late 1960s to the mid-'70s. He worked with several bands, the most well-known being The Band, including Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel. After Manuel and Danko passed away, the remaining 3 agreed to break up. Robertson continued to work on his own as well as with the other Band members, and other groups.
