Grace Slick, born Oct 30, 1939, Chicago, Illinois. One of the legends of 60's rock, starting with her own band 'The Great Society' then the powerful-voiced female singer in Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship. She wrote and sang the 60's classics 'White Rabbit' and 'Somebody to Love'.
