American composer Myron Fink was born in Chicago in 1932. He studied at the Eastman and Julliard Schools of Music. He received bachelors and masters of music degrees from the University of Illinois and studied at the Staats-Akademie der Musik in Vienna through a Fulbright Scholarship. His most noted work may be the opera The Conquistador.
