My Account
Robert Fuchs (1847-1927) of Austria was known and remembered more as a teacher than as a composer of the Romantic period. This is due to the number of successful artists who studied under himl. Among these were Mahler, Korngold, Richard Strauss, Hugo Wolf, Zemlinsky, and Sibelius. Yet Fuchs also wrote symphonies, serenades, operas, and other works.
