La Bohème ("The Bohemians") is the title of two different operas, one by Ruggero Leoncavallo and the other (more famous) by Giacomo Puccini. Both are based on Henri Murger's true-to-life tale, the Scènes de la vie de bohème, ("Scenes of Bohemian Life").
