Stage name for comedian/actor/author/game panelist, Dallas Frederick Burrows. Bean was blacklisted in the 1950s for his liberal views. He was one of the charter members of The Sons of the Desert, the famed Laurel & Hardy appreciation society. He appeared in numerous feature films, television roles, and as a game panelist. More recently he was featured in the movie "Being John Malkovich" and the TV series, "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman". He passed away February 7, 2020, at age 91, after being struck by a car, allegedly while jaywalking.
