David Jason - born 2 February 1940, Edmonton, London, England - one of Britain's most famous and respected actors.
Probably best known for his role as Del Boy in the BBC TV comedy series 'Only Fools and Horses' (1981), other TV roles include 'Darling Buds of May' (1991) and 'A Touch of Frost' (1992).
He received the OBE in 1993.
