Sylvester McCoy - British actor, born 20th August 1943, Dunoon, Strathclyde, Scotland. Before becoming an actor, Percy Smith (real name) trained as a priest, sold insurance and acted as a bodyguard for the 'Rolling Stones'. Though he is best known now for his role as the 7th Doctor Who (1987-1989), he has acted in a variety of TV and film roles.
