Philadelphian native who first made it big in the movie version of 'Fame' as Montgomery MacNeil, (yes the one with the red hair), and is best known as Rocket Romano on the popular television series, ER. McCrane has also appeared in several movies, such as Robocop, The Hotel New Hampshire, and Shawshank Redemption as well as television series, Cop Rock, Under Suspicion, and the mini series, From the Earth to the Moon.
