Fiona Shaw - Irish actress, born 10th July 1958, County Cork, Republic of Ireland. A veteran of the National Theatre, Shaw has appeared in over 21 plays, and several movies,as diverse as 'My Left Foot' (1989) and 'Super Mario Brothers' (1993). She was awarded an honorary C.B.E. (Companion of the British Empire) in 2001. She is often called 'the next Vanessa Redgrave'.
