This category contains both professional and fan pages devoted to the Hollywood movie actor James Cagney, whose lengthy career includes such films as "Angels With Dirty Faces" (1938) and "White Heat" (1949). Although most usually associated with the gangster roles he undertook during the 1930's and 40's, Cagney also appeared in a number of light comedies, and won an Oscar for his lead performance in the 1942 musical "Yankee Doodle Dandy". James Cagney was born in New York in 1899 and died in March 1986.
