"Dawson's Creek" is an American teen drama broadcast from 1998 to 2003 on the WB network. The show -- loosely based on creator Kevin Williamson's own upbringing -- chronicles four teens' coming-of-age in the small coastal town of Capeside, Massachusetts, focusing on the relationship between film fanatic Dawson Leery and his tomboyish lifelong friend, Joey Potter.
