A Junior Enterprise (JE) is a student run company. The concept has been first developed in France during the 1960s. Its aims are to bridge the gap between education and employment and to provide students with the skills that will appeal to employers. In order to achieve this, students realize consulting projects in several business areas for companies and institutions. The client lists contain small to medium sized enterprises as well as international companies. They receive individual and high-quality solutions based on the latest scientific research for a comparatively cheap price. Nowadays there are about 300 Junior Enterprises mainly in Europe and South America.
