Pike is a modular, object-oriented, C-like programming language developed by Fredrik Hübinette of Roxen Internet Software. It has its roots in LPC, and is distributed under the GNU General Public License. The Pike project is currently hosted by Linköping University.
Among its many features are threading, database connectivity, powerful graphic manipulation libraries and much more. The Roxen WebServer is built entirely in Pike.
