Appleton Rifle club was formed in 1902 from members of the local volunteer regiments. The club has shot on the same site continuously up to the present time, making many improvements to the facilities over the years. The Club is an all outdoor .22 rimfire facility having ranges at 100yds, 50yds and 50mt with 54 firing points in all.
