Campgrounds are designated areas that allow camping, either in a tent or a Recreational Vehicle (also known as an RV). Types of RVs may include pop-ups, truck campers, Class A motorhomes, Class B motorhomes (conversion vans), Class C motorhomes (mini motorhomes), travel trailers, 5th wheel travel trailers, bus conversions, and caravans.
Types of campgrounds range from primitive sites with no water or utilities to "RV parks" with utilities, cable TV, and modem hookups. They may be privately owned or located in government owned areas such as national parks or forests.
