The Dogo Argentino (Argentine Mastiff) originated in Cordoba, Argentina. It is the result of carefully crossbreeding several breeds with the "old fighting dog from Cordoba." The Dogo Argentino is a hunting dog and family guardian.

This powerful breed reaches a size ranging from 24-27" and 80-100 pounds. The coat is short and sleek. The Dogo Argentino is courageous and bold.
